Teacher’s notes and lesson plan
Share the double-page lesson and pre-teach any difficult vocabulary with your students. The objective is to give students the English phrases to think and talk about the internet and digital addiction. (It’s based on Mark Manson video that you could find on YouTube if you think your students would benefit from watching it.) Split the class into pairs to do the “Write” questions. Then get the pairs to report back to the class. Do the same with the final three “speak” questions as a speaking exercise, or give them as homework as a writing exercise. Starter question: Could you live without your smartphone? (Or some other aspect of internet cuture that your students might be interested in).
