Teacher’s notes and lesson plan
The aim of the lesson is to get kids to follow instructions in English to make a 3D Christmas card.
Go over the Christmas items (Santa/reindeer/Christmas tree etc)
Then get the kids to look at the instructions of how to make a card and see if they can figure it out.
Show them a sample. Use quite sturdy card so that it can stand up. Copy paper won’t work.
Let them make their cards and decorate them, writing a message (copied from the worksheet if necessary) to their adoring mums.
Combine with the 12 Days of Christmas and hey presto, you have a Christmas-themed, well-rounded and fun lesson.
