Vacations (speech using 'want' and 'have to')

Teacher’s notes and lesson plan
The objective of this lesson is to get the students to use the form will+verb to make predictions about the future.
Pre-teach vacations = holidays in British English; “want to” and “don’t want to”; and “have to” = must; and “don’t have to” = can if you want to.
Give the two worksheets to the students. Get the students to read out the sample speech.
Get the students to write the answers to the 7 questions, about themselves.
Have the students read out their speeches in pairs or to the teacher.
Have the students hide their notes and give their speech from memory (with prompts from the students or teacher if necessary).
Record the speeches and send to their parents (if it goes well!)
