Teacher’s notes and lesson plan
The aim of the lesson is to teach the form “He/she wants to go to xxx to xxxx” (using the infinitive to mean the same as "because he/she want to….” — which is harder to explain than just to do.
Pre-teach any difficult vocabulary, warm up with using 3-hint quiz about country names
Print out and laminate the flashcards and use them to drill the correct forms.
Do a Stamp Rally activity with the cards
Worksheet (get students to write their answers)
Get kids to give quick speeches about where they and their classmates want to go and why. Video the results and, if successful, send to their parents
Last game (oct sausage/3 hint quiz/bingo etc)
